There is no doubt that GLP – 1’s can be game changers. And if you have reached maintenance before the insurance ran out, we applaud you and are thrilled for your success!
But now you find yourself back in a very calorically dense, high-fat world, relying on willpower that has failed in the past. We feel you. We get it. Everyone on this team has experienced the frustration of regain after months of hard work. This is one of the reasons we created Green Papyrus and bring it to you now.
Researchers tested what happens when lab mice are fed 100% pure molokhia along with a typical, western, high fat diet (HFD). This treatment markedly reduced 3T3-L1 adipocytes' ability to accumulate fat. In comparison to the HFD group, mice treated with 100 mg/kg molokhia showed significantly decreased body weights, intestinal permeability, and hepatic fat accumulation, with 13.1, 52.4, and 17.4%, respectively. Furthermore, by reducing colonic inflammation and metabolic endotoxins, molokhia improved gut health. (Lee et al, 2022).
This finding, along with other research, suggests that adding Green Papyrus to your maintenance routine inhibits regain. In that spirit, and in case you are not green smoothie person, here is the recipe we use in the office to give our afternoon guacamole a kick in the spice packet and protect our waistlines at the same time. Because into every life, some guacamole must fall.

2 or 3 Avocados depending on size. Scooped out into a bowl.
2 TBSP Lime Juice
1 TSP Green Papyrus
2 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
1 Jalapeño, chopped
Half a Red Onion, diced
2 Cloves of Garlic, smashed
Salt to taste.
Mix all ingredients well and garnish with fresh cilantro.
We find adding Green Papyrus increases the oniony and jalapeño flavor profile while sacrificing none of that gotta-have-it guacamole flavor. Try it and let us know what you think.
